Welcome to a lovely giveaway for National Children’s Gardening Week!
I’m partnering with garden tool supplier Burgon & Ball to give away a bundle of children’s gardening tools worth over £89 from their National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ range. This is such a perfect prize for encouraging those little green fingers 🙂
Read on to find out more about the range and how to enter.

The National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ children’s gardening tools range from Burgon & Ball
Burgon & Ball have almost 300 years of experience in making garden tools, and their product range is a gardener’s dream come true. A quick look around my shed will reveal rather a lot of their products! The range covers garden tools and accessories, enamelware and gifts. As well as being fantastic quality and really comfortable to use, everything also looks gorgeous and is beautifully designed.
The National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ range includes all the tools and equipment little ones need to get busy in the garden. Each item is sized for smaller hands, and features lovely bright colours and cute garden wildlife characters.

I love the fact that while these tools are sized for children, they are still very much ‘proper’ tools. They’re made from steel and FSC®-certified hardwood, and are really built to last. All the products are CE tested too, so you can be confident that they conform to safety and environmental standards.
You might also like to know that Burgon & Ball have committed a minimum donation of £15,000 from the sales of their National Trust ranges to the charity – so every purchase helps to support their conservation activities.
You can view the full National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ range here. Let’s take a look at the products in the prize bundle in more detail.

Spade, Digging Fork & Rake
Designed in high-carbon steel and colourfully painted FSC®-certified ash wood, these tools will cope with energetic gardening and play. The spade and fork have a T-shaped handle which is perfect for a double-handed grip. A tough powder coating protects the steel heads from corrosion, and there’s a five year guarantee for extra peace of mind.

Apron
I love this colourful apron – it’s perfect for gardening, but also great for baking and crafting. Made from 100% heavyweight cotton, it has a handy pocket and fastens at the neck and waist with hook-and-loop fasteners for safety. It’s machine washable too.

Children’s Kneelo Garden Kneeler
I have the adult version of this kneeler, and I literally couldn’t garden without it. It has a core of shock-absorbing foam, which is surrounded by cushioning memory foam and covered in durable neoprene. The children’s version is lightweight and easy to carry, with a funky frog or snail design. As well as being a great way to keep their trousers clean, these kneelers make perfect seat pads for picnics and outdoor adventures.

Bucket
In my experience, a little bucket is an essential piece of gardening kit for kids. They can use it for so many things: collecting treasures, filling with soil or water, making sandcastles, stashing weeds, making ‘perfume’ from petals… the list is as long as their imagination. This lovely metal bucket is the perfect size for kids, and so pretty it would also make a fab plant container. It’s made from rust-resistant galvanised steel, with a tough powder coating and a comfortable wooden handle.
This is such a lovely prize bundle – and the National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ range is absolutely perfect for encouraging children to get stuck in and have fun in the garden. Which product from the range would be at the top of your little gardener’s wish list?
