Pelargonium plants from Pelargonium for Europe
Pelargonium for Europe are the leading group of European pelargonium growers, so they’re experts in all things related to these popular flowering plants.
The Pelargonium for Europe website has a really fantastic inspiration section which is full of ideas for craft projects and using pelargoniums to create beautiful home decorations. There’s also plenty of plant care tips and advice to help you look after your plants and make the most of their beautiful blooms.

Why are pelargoniums so popular?
Pelargoniums (also known as tender geraniums) are one of the most popular bedding plants, and have been for many years. The beautiful flowers and striking green foliage of pelargoniums is obviously key to their popularity, but there are also other reasons why we love them so much.
For starters, pelargoniums are tough little plants. They can cope with neglect, dry conditions, and even a bit of overwatering. This makes them perfect flowering plants for beginner gardeners.

Another reason for the popularity or pelargoniums is the variety of colours they offer. If you’re looking to make a bold statement, there are lots bright and bold shades to choose from, and if you’re going for a more muted look there are plenty of pastel shades too.
Pelargoniums are also long-flowering, and if you deadhead them regularly they will bloom all the way into autumn. This makes them a very budget-friendly bedding plant. And finally, slugs and snails don’t like to eat them!

Inspiring pelargonium projects
To give you a taster of the brilliant ideas on the Pelargonium for Europe website, here are a few of my favourite projects.

This simple flowering table centrepiece would make a fantastic focal point for an outdoor dining table.

I love the idea of mixing and matching your pots to create a unique upcycled planter display.

This modern twist on a pelargonium display uses spray paint to create patterns on planters for an ultra-chic look.

These cute little bags are personalised with your own design to create a lovely floral gift.
Hopefully these floral projects and the stunning images from Pelargonium for Europe have inspired you to get creative with flowers in your home and garden this summer. Please note that these images are for illustrative purposes, and are not a representation of the prize bundles.
Each prize bundle is worth a minimum of £35 and will include a selection of pelargonium plants in a variety of colours. How would you use them to decorate your garden this summer?
