Giveaway: outdoor security bundle from Very

Welcome to a new giveaway which is perfect for adding more security to your outdoor space.

October is National Home Security Month, which focuses on raising awareness around the importance of home security.  To coincide with National Home Security Month, Very have given me a bundle of outdoor security products worth £49.98 to give away to one lucky winner.

The first product in the prize bundle is a Master Lock Key Lock Box which retails at £29.99.

This is brilliant for keeping spare keys safely stored outdoors.  It has a reinforced zinc alloy body to keep things extra secure, plus an easy to use release mechanism and a four digit code which you can personalise.  I think I need one of these down at my allotment, having padlocked my car keys inside the shed more than once!

The second product I’m giving away is a Master Lock Garden Security Kit which retails at £19.99.

If you need to secure valuable outdoor furniture or equipment such as barbecues and patio heaters, this is the perfect option.  The heavy duty cable is made from braided steel, and the wall anchor and padlock are made from tough steel too.  At 4.5m the cable is nice and long, allowing you to anchor multiple items to the wall bracket.  What would you secure with it in your garden?

With the days getting shorter and most of us spending less time in the garden, this is a perfect prize for adding an extra layer of security to your outdoor space during the colder months.

If you’re looking to step up your home security this month, Very have a 20% offer on selected home security lines – head over to the Very website to check out their range.

  1. I would use it to keep the kids bikes, grass cutter, gardening tools and our bbq safe in our shed :)

  2. master lock key lock box sounds great. Will stop me locking hubby out when I go to work!

  3. a great give away that will prove really useful – in my case it would be used to secure kids bikes which are under cover but not in shed etc

  4. I would use it to padlock my gimp to, so he doesn’t go running off to find a more caring master.

  5. Would love knowing that a spare key was always there in the security box & that the kids bikes were safe & secure!

  6. The Garden Shed would be no.1 priority as most of my garden tools and furniture is stored over winter in there. x

  7. My brother has a small yard. He’s had issues with crooks stealing his washing line and frame. It would be really handy for him.

  8. In 4 months we have had our car broken into twice, I have been reviewing our security due to this. I live in a village that doesn’t have any street lights. I would love to win this to secure our valuables outside in the garden,

  9. The key box would be useful as we sometimes have to leave a key out for our son when he comes home from school & at the moment we just have a predetermined place but I do worry about it. The other security system I would use on some metal chairs & a table we bought years ago which cost an absolute fortune.

  10. There have been a spate of pet rabbit thefts in our area, so my husband has put the rabbit run in our shed to protect my daughter’ pet bunnies called Oscar and Popcorn. This fantastic security bundle would add even more protection for them :D

  11. A spare key for the house and I’d use it the secure the expensive fancy cat house/palace type thing

  12. Something we should all have really, we would all be quick to complain if anything of ours was taken so the saying is correct – prevention is better than cure.

  13. Getting big son a bike for christams so he can get to work don’t have a side gate to get to the garden so bike will have to be chained to the front prefect

  14. I’d use the Master Lock Garden Security Kit to secure some very long ladders we have in our garden; unfortunately they are too long for the shed so we’ve hidden them along the side of the house, though I never feel the house is totally secure with them in the garden; it feels like leaving a key under a pot.

  15. I would use this to keep my garden furniture safe, and put my spare key in as I am always loseing it!

  16. I would use them to secure my children’s bicycles as we don’t have a garage and the shed is usually full so the bikes are left outside under special all-weather covers.

  17. I would use this at my allotment to protect my chickens. I had 3 stolen a few months ago, love my chickens.

  18. My son always leaves the keys for my house at his, this would be ideal for him….. when he calls to see me
