Win a limited edition Emma Bridgewater vase plus a bundle of Unwins Sweet Pea seeds

March 10, 2017 by Catherine 204 Comments

With the arrival of spring just around the corner, lots of us are starting to think about planting seeds and looking forward to beautiful blooms in a few months’ time.  This fab giveaway courtesy of the lovely people at Unwins is just perfect for helping you out with that!

I’m giving away two prize bundles, each containing a limited edition Emma Bridgewater Sweet Pea vase and five packs of Unwins sweet pea seeds.  Such a lovely prize, it would make a fantastic treat for a gardening fan – and sweet peas are really easy to grow, so it’s also perfect as an introduction to growing flowers for cutting.

The bespoke Emma Bridgewater vase has been designed and made especially for Unwins.  It’s decorated with a lovely sweet pea design and is just the right size for a posy of these classic blooms.

Limited edition Emma Bridgewater sweet pea vase

Isn’t is gorgeous?  Only 1,000 were produced and made available to customers who bought three packets of seeds from the new Unwins Sensational Sweet Peas range, so it’s seriously limited edition!  However, if you enter my giveaway you’re in with a chance of getting your hands on one, plus five packs of seeds from the Unwins Sensational Sweet Peas range.

The  range is new for 2017, and is inspired by our love affair with period drama and all the grandeur, elegance and colour that goes with it.  The collection includes old favourites and brand new varieties, here’s a little taster of them.

Unwins Sweet Pea Little Red Riding Hood

Sweet Pea Little Red Riding Hood has light and deep red blooms and a heady fragrance.

Unwins Sweet Pea Maloy

Sweet Pea Maloy has beautiful blooms in shades of salmon pink and is delicately-scented.  It looks fantastic when partnered with other dark and rich coloured sweet peas.

Unwins Sweet Pea Old Fashioned Selection

Sweet Pea Old Fashioned Selection are ‘Grandiflora’ Sweet Peas, which were very popular in Victorian times.  The wonderfully scented flowers are smaller than modern varieties, making them a really dainty option.

Unwins Sweet Pea Erewhon

Sweet Pea Erewhon is a two-tone mauve-purple variety, with delicately-scented flowers.  If it’s flowers for cutting you’re after, this is a great choice.

All varieties can be sown from January to March, so now’s the perfect time to get planting.  Which is your favourite?
