Wildlife World’s Wireless Wildlife Observation Camera

I had the opportunity to check out the wireless Wildlife Observation Camera recently, and it’s such an easy-to-use product. It’s 100% wire-free, you simply connect it to your wifi network and operate it via the free ‘ToSee’ app.

The camera itself is HD 1080 and has six infrared LEDs, which means you can capture crystal-clear nighttime footage as well as high definition daytime clips. It operates silently so your local wildlife won’t be disturbed, making it perfect for things like nest boxes, nocturnal wildlife and camera-shy garden visitors.

The Wildlife Observation Camera is triggered by motion sensor technology, and when motion is detected an alert is sent to your smartphone via the app – so you won’t miss out on the action, even if you’re not at home. It also means you don’t need to wade through hours of footage! The ‘ToSee’ app also gives you access to additional camera functionality, including live view, snapshot and sharing of footage. And if you’re out of wifi range you can also use the camera in stand-alone mode to record to a micro SD card.

On a practical note, the camera is weather-resistant and can operate over a large temperature range of -20 degrees to +50 degrees. The green casing allows it to blend into the natural environment, and it comes complete with mounting bracket, rechargeable batteries and charging cable.

I think this is a brilliant product that provides a hassle-free, reliable and unobtrusive way to interact with your garden wildlife. It’s also a great way to get the kids involved in caring for and learning about our native wildlife. I know we’d love to have one in our garden!

  11. I’ve a feeling that bats are going to take the blame, unfairly, for the current virus, so anything we can do to help our local populations is important. Which is why I’d choose the Conservation Bat Box from Wildlife World to give them somewhere safe to roost and bring up their young.

The bees and flies come in through our open door and always get stuck up in the roof window. They keep bashing their heads against it because they can see the outside world and can’t figure out how to get outside. Trying to steer them back to the open door usually takes so much effort that I probably terrify the poor little things.
