Bringing the outdoors in: Sainsbury’s Garden Room range

May 8, 2017 by Catherine Leave a Comment

Checking out the Sainsbury's Garden Room range of home accessories, all designed to help you bring a touch of nature into your home.

Do you try to bring a little bit of nature into your home?

The interiors trend of bringing the outdoors into our living spaces has been big news for a while now, and it’s not hard to see why. Interiors brands have picked up on the fact that connecting with nature helps us cope with today’s hectic pace of life, and are extending that connection into the home via accessories, wallpaper, fabric prints and furniture.  Add to that the fact that pantone’s colour of the year is Greenery, and it’s clear that this particular interiors trend has really made it’s mark.

Now you probably already know that I’m a big fan of getting outside and enjoying nature, and I love bringing the outdoors into my home too.  I’m not just talking about the kids’ ever-growing stick collection either!  I’ve been checking out the new Garden Room range from Sainsbury’s, which is perfect for giving your home a natural touch.

The Sainsbury’s Garden Room range is all about country classic style, with a modern twist.  A colour palette of green and pinks is combined with botanical prints across tableware, accessories, bedding, ceramics, lighting and storage.  I like the fact that there’s something for every room in the house within this range, so you can keep it subtle with a couple of accessories, or really build up the natural vibe.

Here are my favourite picks from the range.

1. Set of 3 Faux Florals, £15    2. Sticky Notes Box, £4    3. Garden Cloche Candle, £15    4. Boxed Pencils x 6, £2    5. Resin Bird Set, £10    6. Paperweight, £4    7. Large Desk Planner, £4

I’ve really embraced the natural look on my desk with this range; I spend a lot of time sitting here, and I’m finding the lovely co-ordinated floral theme very calming.

The lounge is also benefitting from an injection of nature, with bright pops of colour and botanical prints.

What do you think of my picks?  I’m loving this range; it’s fresh, bright and super-easy to introduce within an existing room scheme.  So many of the products would make a lovely gift too.

The Sainsbury’s Garden Room range is available in-store and online, you can check out a larger selection of products here.
