The lovely folk at Bean Bag Bazaar sent me the ICON® Milano Velvet Armchair bean bag and matching footstool. It’s available in six different colours, we chose the Mustard option which ties in perfectly with our kitchen’s accent colour.

There’s just something irresistible about sinking into a generous bean bag, isn’t there? The Milano is lovely and big, with just the right amount of filling to provide support while still allowing you to snuggle in. It really is ridiculously comfortable; I’ve almost nodded off in it a few times already!

The footstool is a great addition too, because it’s really multipurpose. As well as resting your feet on it, you can use it as a little seat, or pop a tray on the top and you’ve got a side table.

As you can see, we’re moving the Milano around the room to suit our seating needs. This is where bean bags really come into their own: they’re lightweight and easy to move, and the Milano has a carrying handle on the back which makes it even easier.     Or my husband could rest after a long day’s work

    Any colour is brilliant as it would brighten up our room
