This is a collaborative post in partnership with Desenio
With the kids back at school, and the urge to spend more time indoors, autumn is often when we turn our attention to interiors projects. I’ve certainly got a big to-do list for tidying up our home after months of intensive use from the whole family!
One project that has been on my list for a while now is a gallery wall for our lounge. And I’ve finally tackled this with wall art from Desenio.
I must admit, the idea of designing a gallery wall and getting it right first time has put me off in the past. It always felt like such a daunting job, and not being able to visualise and play around with the finished layout was a real stumbling block. Using Desenio’s gallery wall tool made the whole process so much easier.

Desenio’s gallery wall tool
The gallery wall tool takes you through the design process step-by-step. You start by choosing a room background, then select your layout, and add in prints and frames to complete the design. It’s easy to go back a step or two if you need to re-think things, and when you’re happy with your gallery wall, a single click adds the whole project to your basket for checkout.

There’s a wide range of prints to choose from, all grouped into popular themes to help you narrow down your selection. The prints themselves are really good quality, and choosing frames at the same time means you can be sure everything will fit properly.
Gallery wall inspiration
The Desenio website also has hundreds of ready-made gallery walls. We browsed these for inspiration, but they’re also a super-quick way to make a selection if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Here’s our finished gallery wall – what do you think?

I’m really pleased with the way it looks, and I’m loving the quality of the prints and frames. The Desenio website made it a really easy interiors project – so much so that I’m now thinking about a gallery wall for our bedroom too!

Do you love gallery walls? What’s your top tip for making them look great?
